Hey peeps,
Happy New Year to one and all! I take it you celebrated your new calendars in style! I actually wonder if New Year was an invention by a calandar producer? Like Mother's Day is a perfect sales booster for florists! lol Well, I got no new calendar. I still have my Scotland calendar from 2008 up on my wall. The dates are that small I never used it as a calendar anyway but the pictures are nice. lol
New Year 2009/2010 for me: I of course overindulged big style - I had a WHOLE glass of champagne at midnight. Yeah, I know. I try my best to adjust to some rock'n'roll lifestyle. I fail so drastically at that I have not even got anything to tell really. At the moment I am actually more focused on some private matters leaving hardly any time to pick up the guitar or even write new songs. Though that is not quite right - I have been doing some work over the last couple of months as there is an important gig coming up in March. It'll be my first ever concert where I am going to play absolutely on my own - just with a guitar. Well....and maybe some triangle solo-extravaganza...you've got to come up with SOME surprises. lol It's goin to be a two-artists gig. Another band called Playground is goin to rock socks and you never know but we might play one or two songs together. That's the plan so far. More news I should get soon. Hopefully. :)
A new year does not only bring new calendars but changes (there will be many for me this year). After all I decided to make Feel Free availabale for free download. Thanks to all who have downloaded Sinéad Gere and Feel Free during the last months! I am glad the song found a new home on people's MP3 players around the globe. It's a bit strange to think someone in China is listening back to one of my songs! :-) Wherever you are - my Mum is chuffed! lol
Well, that's it so far from me.
I am just throwing a new reel onto the machine - will be back soon with some news.
